The EU

Google says the EU requires a notice of cookie use (by Google) and says they have posted a notice. I don't see it. If cookies bother you, go elsewhere. If the EU bothers you, emigrate. If you live outside the EU, don't go there.

Space, the Changing Frontier

For John, BLUFIf they don't have Black Holes straight how can they convince us about the other stuff?  Nothing to see here; just move along.

Mr Corey S Powell, at Discovery magazine asks "No Such Thing as a Black Hole?"  The subheadline is "New theories question just about everything we thought we knew about nature’s bottomless pits."  Frankly, that is disturbing.  These things are supposed to be settled science.  And think of the movie plots that depend on Black Holes.

This is behind a paywall, so pay up or go to your local drug store and purchase a copy of the April edition of the magazine.  Or, cheat and go to your local Library.

Hat tip to the Instapundit.
