The EU

Google says the EU requires a notice of cookie use (by Google) and says they have posted a notice. I don't see it. If cookies bother you, go elsewhere. If the EU bothers you, emigrate. If you live outside the EU, don't go there.

Intellectual Churn


For John, BLUF:  Republican ideas are being debated.  Nothing to see here; just move along.


Over at the Althouse blog is a link to this New Republic article on Representative Paul Ryan, (R, Janesville).  The question is, is he slipping away from the Republican wonks.  Mentioned in the New Republic article is an article in The New York Times Magazine, "The Spirit of '14" (the on-line headline is "Can the G.O.P. Be a Party of Ideas?").  Actually, the Republican Party is a party of ideas, just not ideas that Progressives (or The New York Times) are pushing.
