The EU

Google says the EU requires a notice of cookie use (by Google) and says they have posted a notice. I don't see it. If cookies bother you, go elsewhere. If the EU bothers you, emigrate. If you live outside the EU, don't go there.

WWII Memorial Opened by WWII Vets

For John, BLUFTo be expected.  Nothing to see here; just move along.

A tweet:
"Honor flight vets just knocked over the barriers at the WWII memorial to get inside, #shutdown or no."
Works for me.

As an aside, a reporter just noted that politicians are now showing up.  There are words to describe the politicians.

HOORAH!!! Hey, the one thing that the Federal government needs to understand....is that monuments such as the WWII Memorial doesn't belong to the Federal government. It belongs to the people...and as such...the Federal government has no right..or authority to withhold it from the rightful owners.

You can't print the names for politicians in this or any other blog......in fact.....I'm not even certain that those names would be suitable for a room full of drunken sailors. YES....politicians are THAT bad!!!!
