The EU

Google says the EU requires a notice of cookie use (by Google) and says they have posted a notice. I don't see it. If cookies bother you, go elsewhere. If the EU bothers you, emigrate. If you live outside the EU, don't go there.

Brown to NH?

For John, BLUFIt is the political silly season.  Nothing to see here; just move along.

The Daily Kos takes a shot at former US Senator Scott Brown.  If New Hampshire will elect Ms Jeanne Shaheen, maybe they will elect Mr Brown.  At any rate, I give the "Live Free or Die" motto no more than ten more years, given the rate of migration.

Read the Daily Kos story if you care.

Hat tip to Ann Althouse.

Regards  —  Cliff

Question.  Are those migrating to New Hampshire from Massachusetts (perhaps to avoid taxes) sufficiently Progressive that it will cause Massachusetts to trend back toward its conservative and freedom-loving past?

To answer your question, I think that the MA strategy may well work. Export all of the progressives to north of the border leaving a much more moderate...dare I say neocon population behind.

As a resident of New Hamster, I can assure your readership that the iconic "Live Free or Die" is already meaningless rhetoric, as a result of most of New Hampshire townships having sent their village idiots to the state capitol. The political well-to-do, aka Democrats, have firmly entrenched themselves in all facets of state government, a condition now not likely to change ever again.....save a revolution which won't happen as NH moves to confiscate weapons of mass destruction.....

Hope still springs north of the notches. Maybe we of the dastardly conservative mind may have to relocate to Berlin, Lancaster, Colebrook, or even Pittsburg....we can then campaign to subdivide the state....North New Hampshire..with the old logo of course.
