Lowell Blogger Gerry Nutter has a new job and like any person on a new job, he is focusing on that activity. Thus, he is cutting back his blogging to weekends only. And, he closed comments on this blog post. Thus, this post to serve as my comment.
Gerry has been doing a great job of getting information and ideas out there. I don't agree with everything Gerry posts, but then it would be a poorer world if we all thought the same thing.
I will miss Gerry's more frequent blogging and hope that he will soon get solid footing in his new job and be able to move back toward his previous frequency. However, it takes time to do a blog. It is one thing to throw up a short comment, but to actually think about something and put up a thoughtful post takes time. One thing for a retired person, another for a working man with a family that includes children at home.

I find the opposite, and agree with Twain: "If I had more time I'd have written a shorter letter". The "throwing up" is the easy part. It's the editing back down that's the bear.
