The Rebel Army in Libya

Well, not really an Army.  Why did the American Revolution take so long?  Part of the reason is that it takes a couple of years to build an army.

From The New Yorker a short report on the Rebel Army in Libya.

Does anyone have a pool going on how long this will last?

It will last more or less until Obama can get reelected.

Are we now as the French? Prancing around as if in/and of an affinity of/for liberty? However their presense was successful ending our Revolution.

I do think their fleet and their army made a difference, and the cost helped bring on their own revolution.  Forget I said that.  I heard George S, over at ABC, used the words "Mission Accomplished".

Easy for George S. to say, since almost nobody in the entire world knew/knows what was/is the mission. Obama sure didn't describe it definitively. In fact, the only thing he really described last night was how wonderful a humanitarian he is...but then...what can you expect from a Nobel Peace Prize winner...and a community organizer?
