Military Intervention Checklist

At this link I am hoping is a web page, where, at the bottom is a link to Colonel John M Collin's Military Intervention Checklist—"The A-B-Cs of Military Intervention:  A Checklist of Key Considerations".

Colonel Collins was Director of Military Strategy Studies, National War College, 1969-71 and Chief Strategic Research Group, 1971-72.

As indicated in a previous post, Colonel Collins has several books published, including Military Strategy: Principles, Practices, and Historical Perspectives.

I can't help but suggest....."Don't intervene unless directly threatened. And then intervene decisively toward a fast and permanent solution."

I want 100% ROI on ANY American life spent on "intervention." None of this grandiose verbosity about "making the world safer for democracy" or "fighting for freedom"......

As Patton said....and I believe in HIS maxims for enemy engagement...."Nobody ever won a war by dying for his country (or cause...my addition)." To believe otherwise is to subscribe to the worst kind of romantic drivel.
