Senatorial Election

Dick Howe gives us his estimate on the key dates in the Senatorial race that the law demands.
  1. Nomination papers due – November 10, 2009
  2. Special primary election – December 22, 2009
  3. Special general election – February 2, 2010
As Dick points out, 10,000 signatures.

What with this and that, it is going to be very busy for the next few months.

Thinking Snow Storm

Could we wait for spring when many towns have local elects?

Gee, thanks Renee.&nbp; :-(

A real downer.  But, perhaps prescient.  Murphy's Law—if it can be installed wrong, it will be, broadened to "if it can go wrong, it will."

I take it yours is a vote for letting the Governor appoint someone until the next even year election?

Considering how the weather can go, perhaps not a bad alternative.  Unfortunately, the Great and General Court looks too much to what divides us in the Commonwealth and not enough to what unites us.
